Joseph’s Classic Market – One of my favorite spots is Joseph’s Classic Market — a family-owned Italian market that feels like home. They have incredible prepared foods, a great deli, fresh breads and pastries, beautiful meats and seafood, and even a New York–style pizza counter. It’s my go-to place whether I’m picking up dinner or grabbing something fresh for the weekend.

Composition Coffee – A hidden gem in a newly reimagined industrial district just minutes from El Cid and Prospect Park. Composition Coffee meticulously sources and brews the finest single-origin coffees. Reminiscent of a cozy New York café, they offer delicious coffees, a cozy place to work or meet friends, and a charming outdoor terrace area to savor you’re their home baked treats.

Halls Hardware – Halls Hardware has been family-owned and operated since 1945, and is “here to serve” – a mantra that is reflected in the consistently high level of service every time. Whether you have a big project or small, they are there to guide you every step of the way. They also have a treasure trove of wonderful products for the kitchen and home – at wonderfully affordable prices – all hidden within the fully packed shelves. It is a true experience!

Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market – Bedner’s is one of our favorite places for farm-fresh, locally-grown, fruits and vegetables, as well as gourmet items, baked goods and smoothie bar. Located in a large warehouse, the fruits and vegetables are artfully displayed in large crates, enticing you to purchase more than you intended.
